Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore the frameworks that enable seamless digital transformation (DT) in modern organizations, identifying the key factors that contribute to successful transformation efforts. A qualitative research design was employed, using semi-structured interviews to collect data from 22 participants, including IT managers, organizational leaders, and digital transformation consultants. The participants were selected through purposive sampling, ensuring they had relevant experience in DT initiatives. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis with NVivo software to identify key themes and insights related to leadership, culture, technological infrastructure, and external environmental factors. The study revealed four main themes that contribute to seamless digital transformation: leadership and governance, organizational culture, technological infrastructure, and the external environment. Key subthemes included strategic vision, change management, employee engagement, adaptability, and cybersecurity. Leadership was found to be critical in driving transformation through clear vision and data-driven decision-making, while organizational culture played a pivotal role in fostering innovation and managing resistance to change. Technological infrastructure, including scalability and data integration, was essential for successful DT, and external factors, such as market trends and regulatory compliance, also influenced transformation strategies. The findings highlight that successful digital transformation requires an integrated approach involving strong leadership, an adaptive organizational culture, robust technological infrastructure, and alignment with external market dynamics. These frameworks provide valuable insights for organizations seeking to navigate the complexities of digital transformation, offering practical strategies for overcoming common challenges.
